At the LRDM you can do SRE (Squadron Realist Event)/SQB (Squadron Battle) if you wish. But what is it ?

SRE (or SQB) is the team-based game mode in War Thunder (WT). Squadrons take part in 8 vs. 8 inter-army battles to win points and rank globally among the other squadrons. It should not be confused with TSS (War Thunder Tournament/e-sports).

The SRE takes place on realistic random tank battle maps (night maps cannot be dropped) and allows squadrons to create their own team compositions, taking into account the following rules :

  • There is no limit on the nations that can be used (mix and match anything you like)

  • Teams can have a maximum of 4 aircraft and a minimum of 0

  • Teams can have a maximum of 8 ground vehicles and a minimum of 4

  • The match is won when the enemy loses all its vehicles or tickets

  • SRE seasons last approximately two months

  • During the season, the BRs are in a descending phase.

  • Players gain points by winning SRE matches and lose points by losing SRE matches. (Players with high points gain a few points per win and lose large amounts if they lose, while players with low points gain large amounts of points per win and lose small amounts if they lose).

  • The top 20 players in the squad contribute 100% of their points, while players below the top 20 contribute one hundredth of their points.

At the LRDM, we have a number of expectations of the players :

  • At the LRDM we expect players to play their best during SRE sessions and to be orderly/concentrated.

  • Players must obey designated SRE Officers/Chiefs/Sergeants or designated Division Heads.

  • Players must score points ( kills/ caps/ spotting/ sitting/ etc... ) according to the time allotted to them.

  • If a player is unable to play for a short period, they must react with the reaction in the lounge concerned!

  • If a player is unable to play for a long period, they must indicate this by typing the absence command followed by the duration in the dedicated text room!
